The new business incubator will be operated by a venture capital startup investing in a manufacturing campus that will finance and manage vertically integrated businesses, with its new global headquarters in Marlboro County.
Research funding at the University of South Carolina grew to a record $226.9 million in fiscal year 2011, a 3.7% increase over last year’s record of $218.8 million.
The Congressional redistricting plan approved by the South Carolina General Assembly at the end of the 2011 legislative session has been submitted to the U.S. Department of Justice for review and administrative approval.

The position requires a master’s degree in psychology or a master’s degree in a related social science field plus 18 graduate hours in psychology. Supervisory experience at the community college level and demonstrated success/experience in teaching psychology in traditional classroom and distance delivery modes is preferred.
