Bar Stool ClassicPutt your way through Five Points during the second annual Bar Stool Classic, happening this evening from 5-9 p.m. Guests will get a score card and will make their way through the bars playing mini golf, competing for goodies and enjoying beer specials. First place nets $500. Register for $15 at the Five Points Fountain starting at 4 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Babcock Center Foundation. |

To market, to marketMain Street Marketplace continues Friday on Boyd Plaza. City Center Partnership's open-air market includes fresh fruits and veggies, handcrafts, artwork, baked goods and more. It takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Friday until the end of October at the corner of Main and Hampton streets. Check out the distinctive architectural features of of some of Columbia's oldest homes and learn more about the city's past. The 2010 Woodcreek Classic, part of the NGA Hooters Tour, began on Labor Day and will continue this weekend at the Members Club at Woodcreek in Elgin. The second round is on Friday, the third round on Saturday and the final round is Sunday. The first tee time is 7:30 a.m. daily. Admission is open to the public and there's no charge to watch. |

Get lostOn Saturday, the Clinton Sease Farm's corn maze in Lexington opens for the season.
