BlueCross gets top rating from A.M. BestThe credit rating organization has given BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina its top rating of A+, or superior, for its financial strength. BlueCross was cited for strong market share in its core line; continuous profitability on a consolidated basis; and well-diversified revenue and earnings. German-based parts maker to locate in LowcountryDannecker Fine-Tec Gmbh will set up its North American operation in the Lowcountry, the S.C. Department of Commerce announced Wednesday. The company, which manufactures pieces used in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and hydraulic operations, is set to invest $3 million and create 40 jobs in the next few years.
