Haley to speak at Wilkins awards dinner

S.C. Gov.-elect Nikki Haley will be the keynote speaker Jan. 25 at the Columbia dinner honoring recipients of the David Wilkins awards for Excellence in Legislative and Civic Leadership. The annual event is sponsored by the Riley Institute at Furman University.

Forestry Commission auctioning used vehicles

The S.C. Forestry Commission has posted nearly 30 vehicles on a government auctions website with the hope of using proceeds from their sales to purchase new equipment. The equipment is officially retired from agency operations.

General Tire to sponsor truck in Dakar Rally
