Duke Energy creating endowment at USCThe utility company’s foundation is giving $500,000 for the university to establish the Duke Scholars and Fellows Endowment in the College of Engineering and Computing. It also will enable researchers from the college and Duke Energy to work together on nonproprietary joint energy projects. Columbia office vacancy rate dropsAlthough year-to-date absorption for the total market remains negative, positive absorption during the third quarter further substantiates previous claims that the Columbia office market is on the road to recovery, according to a report by Colliers International. |
