The Elders Pond Neighborhood is located northeast of Columbia, South Carolina off of Hard Scrabble Road north of Clemson Road (Killian Road).  Take a right on Elders Pond Court and at the first right you are there.   The Elders Pond community places residents of Elders Pond just minutes from any type of establishment needed for daily life activities.  The Villages of Sandhill is just 5 minutes up Clemson Road from the community with its vast array of shopping and dining.  Three hours east on I-20 and residents of Elders Pond can be in Myrtle Beach, SC or 4 hours west and be in Atlanta, Georgia.   I-77 is only 10 minutes away providing access to downtown Columbia, SC just 10 minutes southwest.  Head north and be in Charlotte, North Carolina in little more than an hour.  I-26 intersects with I-20 providing a gateway to Charleston, SC to the east and Asheville, North Carolina to the west.  Anywhere you want to go, you can get there easily from the Elders Pond Neighborhood.

The Elders Pond Neighborhood is located close to almost anything you could possibly need during normal daily activities.  Just minutes from the community there are restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, car repair shops, and even fitness centers.  Venture a little farther and up Clemson Road you will find fabulous dining and shopping in the Villages at Sandhill where you can also often times find weekend entertainment during the warmer months.  There is also a weekly farmers market across Clemson Road at the Clemson University Sandhill Research and Education Center which also has a number of hiking trails.   Head into downtown Columbia, SC and find a wealth of daytime and nighttime activities to include a variety of dining and shopping experiences, as well as a myriad of arts and collegiate activities.  Downtown also has a variety of outdoor activities to appeal to most anyone or there is definitely an outfitter who can set you in the direction of your desires.  No matter what your hobby or leisure activities, Elders Pond residents are close to a large variety of things to do.
