Earlewood is a beautiful historical neighborhood located just minutes from downtown Columbia SC, the capital city of South Carolina. Its central location in the State awards residents easy access to many travel destinations by way of the three different interstate systems that flow in and around the city. With the beaches and mountains within 120 miles there is never a shortage of scenery changes. Earlewood, located between Main Street, Rivers Avenue and the Broad River north of Columbia SC, is one of the oldest historical neighborhoods in the Columbia area having blossomed between 1900 and 1930. The first log cabin centrally located in the State was built in Earlewood and moved in the 1970’s to its current location in Sesquicentennial State Park, the closest State Park on the Northeast side of the city.
