The National Labor Relations Board said today it approved the withdrawal of a charge by the Machinists union against The Boeing Co. and its decision to open a 787 final assembly plant in North Charleston. The vacancy rate for the industrial space in the Midlands fell to 10.7% as nearly 150,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution space was absorbed during the third quarter, NAI Avant reported.
