Recommended Restaurant: Mr. Friendly's

How long has it been since you've dined at this Five Points landmark? I confess, it had been a long time since I'd eaten at Mr. F's. Our office decided on it for our annual holiday lunch and off we went. After being seated in a roomy booth in the little bar area, we each started off with a unique fruit juice /sangria refresher to get us out of "work mode" and into a more relaxed friendly state. The food started coming... salads with ample amounts of big blackened Gulf shrimp; pan seared salmon croquettes with creamy grits and succotash; huge "French Quarter" burger with roasted red pepper - blue pimento cheese... everything big, bold and yummy. View the lunch menu here. I split a Jill’s Flourless Dark Chocolate Torte Dark Chocolate Torte with 2 fellow chocolate appreciateurs - wonderful! Click here to see all the menus and today's specials!
