USC seeks developers for dorms, academic building
The university wants to create a public/private partnership to build and operate two student housing buildings, each four to six stories tall. It also wants the developer to build an office/academic/research building of as much as 120,000 square feet alongside one of its existing Innovista buildings.
Fort Jackson contractor wins safety award
Balfour Beatty Construction and its team of subcontractors completed 180,000 hours of work on a $43.6 million barracks project at Fort Jackson without an OSHA recordable accident.
Public comment sought for bridge projects
The S.C. DOT is publishing a list of 34 bridges in 22 counties slated for replacement and 53 bridges in 27 counties slated for rehabilitation. The lists include nine bridges in Richland County and one in Lexington County.
Greenville firm sells Greenwood development
Greenville-based Carolina Holdings Inc. said Thursday it sold its Shops at Westwood development in Greenwood. The developer completed construction of the retail center this fall. It is fully leased.
