Innovista to get new director of business solutions

Ann Marie Stieritz has worked in the S.C. Technical College System, most recently as vice president for economic development and workforce competitiveness. Her responsibilities will include recruiting high-tech businesses to the Midlands and serving as the liaison between USC researchers and the business community.

S.C. State names director of transportation center

Charles Wright, a professional in civil engineering transportation, will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Clyburn Transportation Center and work to position it as a partner for the state and nation in developing various aspects of the transportation industry.
