Continental Tire chiefs say growth in S.C. likely

The tire manufacturer’s initial employment estimates for the $500 million plant are about 1,600 jobs, but that may grow to 2,000 to 3,000 workers when fully mature in perhaps two decades.

Fitch gives Infrastructure Bank’s bond issue 'A' rating

Duke, Progress propose power-line expansion

The proposal is part of a mitigation plan filed with federal regulators seeking approval for the utilities’ planned merger. Duke and Progress said they would spend $110 million upgrading lines and improving others to import more out-of-state power.
