Banking veteran Sharon Bryant is now responsible for all retail and commercial banking operations for First Citizens’ S.C. operations, which has more than $7.51 billion in bank assets. Bryant will continue to serve as director of the company’s Wealth Advisory Group.
Ambassador Nirupama Rao will address increasing business between South Carolina and India as well as opportunities for tourism and cultural relationships at a luncheon this month. The event will be held at the Columbia Marriott from noon to 2 p.m. Feb. 29.
Colonial Life will be working with mayors and key leaders of 1,210 cities to implement a cost-containment insurance benefits program centered on value-added services and supplemental benefits. The partnership could save cities $900 million on benefits costs.
The Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a full-time assistant professor of medicine. The position requires an MD degree, at least three years of internal medicine residency training leading to board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine, three years of training in an accredited hematology/oncology program, and a license to practice medicine in South Carolina.
