Including distressed sales, South Carolina had the second-highest increase in home prices in November, according to CoreLogic, a provider of information, analytics and business services. Vermont led the nation with a 4.3% increase.
The public can weigh in on an environmental study about Duke Energy’s plan to build two reactor units at the Lee Nuclear Station in Cherokee County during a meeting Jan. 19 in Gaffney. The NRC staff’s preliminary recommendation calls for the commission to grant construction and operating licenses to Duke for the units.
Columbia partner James K. Lehman will oversee the law firm's 12 East Coast offices, which includes more than 430 attorneys and government relations professionals, and more than 500 support staff. He replaces David E. Dukes, who is stepping down after serving as managing partner since 2001.
