Pure Power Technologies LLC, a Navistar company, was recently honored with an Innovator Award from the Southern Growth Policies Board. The awards are given to companies for adoption of innovative manufacturing practices.
The S.C. Department of Transportation scheduled the hearing to discuss a proposed widening and rehabilitation project for Interstate 26 in Lexington and Calhoun counties.
Quackenbush Architects & Planners named Barbara L. Haller as a new shareholder and principal. She will continue to serve as a project manager for upcoming projects for the firm.
Dave Olson, Savannah River Remediation president and project manager, was recently elected to the board of directors for the Governor’s School of Science & Mathematics Foundation.
The construction of the unit to dispose of low-activity nuclear salt wastes at the Savannah River Site near Aiken is complete and is on schedule to accept waste in November 2012.
The Larry Dempsey Agency is looking to hire a licensed sales producer in Columbia. The full-time position entails new customer acquisition, customor retention, record keeping and outside marketing.
